Okay, so I’m not talented enough to figure out how to add a picture to my previous entry without messing up what I had already posted. So, as promised, here it is: a picture of my Endless Knot pattern. This is worked exactly as the pattern shows. I worked it again, increasing it one size, and though that does show the detail much more clearly, I wanted to give you an idea of exactly what this pattern gives you. Worked on US size 2 needles with a fingerweight yarn, this sample blocked out to 3" x 2". If you’re trying to work out repeats or increases to use this cable pattern with a specific project and my directions aren’t clear enough, feel free to post questions for me.
Cool! Can I use this for a tattoo template?
Seriously, very beautiful!

Thanks! If you’re ever actually looking for a tattoo template though, there are better images out there. This is just a simple knit presentation of a very old symbol that I find sort of interesting: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endless_knot
